Project 2: Contextual Fit

The Smith family, who loved picking flowers every weekend, decided to expand their home to reflect their connection to nature. Inspired by the peony, a flower they picked often, they envisioned incorporating its shape into their design. They wanted to create a larger outdoor space where family and friends could relax by the water and watch their boys play and pick flowers. Inside, they sought a master suite, an exercise room, and a family area to accommodate their needs, as they spent most of their time at home with their children. They hoped to build a home where their kids could grow up surrounded by the beauty of nature and the warmth of family memories along with outdoor activities.
